Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

For: 1.5 pint

Instructions

  1. Mix yolks, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl
  2. Scald milk and temper into yolks
  3. Put back on heat and cook until thickened
  4. Strain, and cool on ice bath
  5. Whip heavy cream to soft peaks
  6. Fold into yolk mixture
  7. Freeze for at least 4 hours
